Presentation: The Cinema Club of The Modern Languages Unit present movies in French, German, Portuguese and Spanish (3 movies in each language) to the students. The movies shown in the Spring Semester 2016 revolve around the following three themes:
Youth, Family and Working Conditions.
The program of the semester starts with an opening on Tuesday, the 16th of February 2016 in which the program and the topics chosen for the semester will be introduced and a short movie in each language will be screened. Each cinema evening will be preceded by a brief introduction of the director, the context and the topic (15-20 min.) by a faculty member. This introduction will be made in the language of the movie (with a translation in English – students following the classes of our department could be involved in this process).
